Hostels

The University and its Constituent Colleges have well-furnished hostel accommodation for the students. Hostels are earmarked for particular courses/streams or colleges campuses.

The University is at present running 18 Hostels, out of which 13 are in the Main Campus and rest are situated in the Constituent Colleges.

Every Hostel has its own unique tradition. Youth festival is organised in each hostel every year. This festival leaves a memorable imprint on hostel inmates. An inter hostel Youth Festival, 'Basant is also organised so as to provide common competitive platform for the manifestation of cultural talents of the hostel inmates.

Note:Only those students who are admitted in the University department/institute / college will be eligible for admission to the University Hostel. If any student fails at the main examination or does not appear in the examination / Compartment / Back / Due, even in compulsory subject then he/she will not be eligible for admission/ readmission in the hostel. It must be noted that students who are pursuing SFS courses can be considered for Hostel admission if the seats are vacant in the respective Hostel. Hard copy of filled forms of S.F.S. courses will be submitted to respective Head / Principal! Director of Department/ College / Institute and Centre.
